This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how Green Grid Inc. ("Green Grid", "Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the iSIU.AI mobile application (the "App"), our iSIU® (Instant Situational Insights®) platform, and related services (together, the "Services"). This Policy also applies to information you provide to us directly, such as through support requests.
Important: The App is intended for authorized users of organizations that deploy iSIU cameras and related infrastructure.
We collect information in the following ways:
Account and profile information such as name, work email, phone number, job title, and organization affiliation.
Support and communications such as messages you send to us, feedback, and information you provide when you contact support.
Administrative information
Device and app usage data such as device model, operating system, App version, language, time zone, and identifiers associated with your device or App installation.
Log data such as IP address, access times, pages or screens viewed, actions taken within the App, and errors or crash reports.
Approximate location inferred from IP address for security, fraud prevention, and regional configuration. We may collect precise GPS location information if you grant permission and a specific App feature requires it (for example, map-based views, proximity to infrastructure, or location-based context). You can enable or disable precise location access at any time through your device settings.
The Services may provide access to camera feeds, still images, detection results, and event metadata associated with your organization’s iSIU deployments. This can include imagery of physical infrastructure and the surrounding environment. In some cases, individuals may appear in camera imagery incidentally.
If you visit our public website, we may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site. This section applies to the website and does not describe mobile-device identifiers used by the App.
We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand how the App and Services perform and to improve reliability and user experience. These tools may collect device and usage information described above.
We use information for the following business purposes:
To provide the Services, including authentication, access to camera feeds and events, alert delivery, and customer support.
To operate, maintain, and improve the App and Services, including debugging, performance monitoring, and feature development.
To communicate with you about service updates, security notices, and administrative messages. Marketing emails, if any, include an unsubscribe option.
For security and abuse prevention, including verifying identity, detecting suspicious activity, investigating incidents, and protecting users and systems.
For reminder and alert delivery through push notifications if you enable them. You can manage notification preferences in the App and in iOS settings.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We may share information as follows:
With your organization. If your account is provided through your employer or another organization, administrators may access and manage your account and certain usage details consistent with your organization’s policies.
With service providers who help us run the Services (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, and security). These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
With professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors as needed for business, legal, and compliance purposes.
For legal and safety reasons if we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate wrongdoing, or respond to lawful requests.
In a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information.
Account information. You can request access, correction, or deletion of certain account information by contacting us. Some information may be retained for security, legal, and operational reasons.
Push notifications. You can enable or disable notifications in iOS settings and, where available, within the App.
Marketing communications. If we send marketing emails, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us at privacy@greengridinc.com.
California privacy rights. California residents may have rights to request information about our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. You can submit requests using the contact methods below. We may need to verify your request.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, support customer operations, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods for camera imagery and event data are determined and managed by Green Grid Inc. based on operational, security, and legal requirements.
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and post the updated Policy.
